Ready to hit the rewind button to start your tattoo journey from the beginning? A tattoo should only last as long as you want it to.
First, take a breath…
While laser tattoo removal can hurt a little, chances are it won’t hurt as much as getting the tattoo did. Tattoo removal pain is comparable to getting too close to a spitting frying pan, makes you jump! but its tolerable, and fast!

A tattoo removal laser works by firing a super-fast beam of light energy into the skin, going beyond just the surface to hit the dermal layer where the tattoo ink is stored. The Q-Switched laser we use stands out because it can deliver ultra-short pulses in nanoseconds with a lot of power, allowing it to target the ink precisely while protecting the skin around it. These quick, intense bursts create a photomechanical effect, making Q-Switch Lasers great for removing tattoos and pigmentation by rapidly heating the area and producing shockwaves that break down the pigment.

Aftercare for Your Skin
Don’t be scared! strange things will happen to your skin! Its not a natural thing to do so your body puts up a bit of a fight. Treat it like a tattoo but a little bit more delicate.
Day 1-3 following tattoo removal are vital for effective healing. Right after the procedure, you might notice redness, swelling, and sensitivity in the treated area. To ensure proper care during this time, gently cleanse the area with water and pat it dry using a clean, soft cloth. To help minimize swelling, apply an ice pack wrapped in a thin cloth for 10-15 minutes, making sure the ice doesn’t touch your skin directly. It’s important to protect the treated area from direct sunlight; if you need to go outside, apply a broad-spectrum suntan lotion with a minimum SPF of 30.
During days 4 to 7, you might experience scabbing, blistering and itching as your skin continues to heal. To manage these symptoms, it’s important to avoid scratching or picking at the scabs, as this can cause scarring and delay recovery. Go for loose, breathable clothing to minimise irritation.
During days 8 to 14, you might notice some improvements in the treated area. You must continue to protect the area from the sun to avoid any darkening of the skin; wearing protective clothing or a bandage can be helpful. If any scabs have come off on their own, you might want to gently exfoliate to support new skin development, using a mild product. And remember to stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water, as this will aid in your skin’s healing process.
Day 15 and Beyond-Tattoo removal takes time, so it’s important to remain patient and remember your goal. As you progress beyond the early stages, concentrate and make sure to keep up with your treatment plan.

As the tattoo begins to fade, take a moment to appreciate the changes and enjoy the journey toward a clean slate.
